Voyage Co — Vehicle Use Policy (California Rentals)

1. General Rules

• Guest must operate the Vehicle responsibly and lawfully at all times.
• All Voyage Co gasoline vehicles require premium gasoline only (91+ octane). Receipt must be left in the Vehicle at return.
• The Vehicle must be returned in the same condition it was received, except for ordinary wear and light dirt.

2. Prohibited Uses (Strictly Not Allowed)

• 🚭 Smoking, vaping, or cannabis use inside or near the Vehicle.
• 🍔 Eating meals or consuming beverages (other than water/sealed bottles) inside the Vehicle.
• 🛏 Sleeping or overnight accommodation inside the Vehicle.
• 🐶 Transport of pets or animals without prior written approval from Voyage Co.
• 🪨 Off-road driving, rock crawling, beach driving, sand dunes, or unpaved trail use.
• 🏎 Racing, drifting, speed contests, reckless or dangerous driving.
• 🚯 Returning the Vehicle with excessive dirt, stains, odors, or trash beyond normal use.

3. Penalties

• Any violation of Section 2 will result in a penalty of $300 to $500.
• The amount is determined by Voyage Co based on:
  • the complexity of remediation (simple cleaning vs. full detailing, repair, restoration), and
  • the actual costs incurred to restore the Vehicle.
• Penalties are in addition to charges for damages, towing, repairs, or loss of use.
• All amounts may be deducted from the security deposit or charged to the Guest’s payment card on file.

4. Acknowledgment

By renting a Vehicle from Voyage Co, the Guest acknowledges and agrees to comply with this Vehicle Use Policy. Guest accepts full responsibility for penalties and costs resulting from prohibited use. Voyage Co reserves the right to enforce these rules strictly to protect its fleet and ensure safety for all customers.
